In a time of crisis, the default is often a trip to an overcrowded emergency department. With rising healthcare costs and strained hospital systems, individuals living with mental health or substance use challenges face barriers to receiving the compassionate care they deserve. Recovery Options Made Easy is working to change that by expanding access to community-based crisis support with the Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center. A Center that meets people where they are — before hospitalization becomes the only option.
Recovery Options’ Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center
Recovery Options’ Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center will provide short-term stabilization and access to community resources for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.
Early intervention and connection to supportive services can reduce recidivism, ease pressure on emergency systems, and promote long-term recovery.
“ROME’s crisis stabilization center fills a longstanding gap in our system, providing 24/7 support that focuses on diversion, connection, and personalized care—not just crisis management.”
Carmelo Hernandez,Chautauqua County Director of Community Mental Hygiene Services and Commissioner of Social Services
