Recovery Options Made Easy Board of Directors named Jennifer Levesque, MA, LMHC, as CEO. Ms. Levesque has been leading the organization as Interim CEO since the previous CEO moved to the NYS Alliance for Rights and Recovery, a state and national policy organization with which Recovery Options has close ties.

Jennifer is a licensed mental health clinician with over 15 years of experience in direct service delivery in the community. She has been with Recovery Options for three years as Senior Clinical Director overseeing the Office of Mental Health licensed community-based programs, and respite and recovery centers of the organization.

Board Chair, Maya Hu-Morabito shared, “We are proud to be able to name Jennifer to this very important position at ROME. She has the depth of experience an organization of our size needs to deliver quality 24/7 care across our 10-county service area”. Hu-Morabito added, “In true peer fashion, Jenn was not only selected through a rigorous screening process but received affirmation of her peers to welcome her into this role. We believe in Jenn because she has been there”.

Jennifer’s background includes positions at Lake Shore Behavioral Health, Erie County Medical Center, community-based mental health services at Catholic Charities of Buffalo, Jewish Family Services, and with the Erie County Department of Mental Health. Central to Jennifer’s experience is her understanding of the need for multiple levels of intervention to provide individual choice and the importance of inter-agency collaboration for the creation of a successful mental health continuum of care.

She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Health and plays an active role in speaking at national mental health conferences in support of the peer service movement.

“I am excited to begin my work as the new CEO of Recovery Options as the organization turns 35 years old. We have a dedicated team providing much needed work helping people along their recovery journey and providing diversion programs reducing hospital admissions. I look forward to solidifying our role and strengthening our infrastructure as we grow and implement our services in the community to those in serious need of mental health supports”, said Jennifer Levesque, MA, LHMC, CEO.

In addition to current programming, Recovery Options is the Code Blue provider in Chautauqua County and will be opening a Wellness Center operating 365 days a year within the year and Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center in early 2026 for the county.
