The need for a continuum of care in the community that supports those in a mental health crisis will have a new place to go for help.
Sydni Eure, 7 News WKBW reporter, spoke with our CEO, Shannon Higbee, about the soon to be opened Kirsten Vincent Respite & Recovery Center. The Center was made possible by the Erie County Department of Mental Health , the Erie County Legislature, New York State Office of Mental Health, the The John R. Oishei Foundation and the Patrick P. Lee Foundation.
The Kirsten Vincent Respite and Recovery Center is set to open in early Spring. The center hopes to divert mental health hospitalizations.
